APII : Reported investments in services increase 174.4% by late January

Reported investments in services increased 174.4% by late January to reach 129.5 million dinars (MD) against 47.2 MD in January 2021, indicators released Friday by the Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation (French: APII) show.

The number of reported projects grew 32.2% and job creation followed suit (+39.9%). Likewise, reported investments rose 400% in totally exporting services with 8.5 MD against 1.7 MD in January 2021.

Similarly, reported investments with foreign participation in services edged up 77.8%. Consequently, projects with foreign participation are expected to rise 110.2% while jobs to be created would increase 145.7%.
