The Tunisian Professional Association of Banks and Financial Institutions (French: APTBEF) urged banking customers to participate massively in FITA 2022, the 5th Financing Investment and Trade in Africa event.

The event, which is organised by the Tunisia-Africa Business council (TABC) on May 25-26 in Tunis, is an opportunity to establish relations and potential partnerships for Africa.

The APTBEF said it is committed to ensuring the success of the FITA which “became an annual must-attend event for actors involved in Tunisia-Africa economic relations: ambassadors, international lenders and other stakeholders from across the world”.

Nearly 3,000 participants are expected at this edition which will focus on post-COVID-19 challenges and means to chart a way out of the crisis.

FITA 2022 will likewise offer the opportunity for economic operators to meet representatives of global finance, Pan-African lenders and investment funds to discuss financial mechanisms for the recovery of the African economy and tools for the development of the inter-African trade.

FITA 2022 agenda includes 2,000 networking and professional B2B meetings. Theme-based roundtables will help facilitate exchange.
