The German Embassy in Tunisia has launched a call for Tunisian civil society organisations wishing to submit project proposals as part of the Development Fund for All. The project was created by Germany with the purpose to offer funds to organisations willing to carry out micro-projects locally.

Interested organisations must submit proposals for feasible projects that meet the needs of the most vulnerable social and economic groups in the country’s poor regions, reads a statement of the German Embassy in Tunisia.

They must meet eligibility criteria, including the completion of a project before the end of December 2022, the embassy posted on its website.

The embassy said that the maximum budget allocated to a single project does not exceed 25,000 euros.

The Development Fund for All is a specific financing mechanism for micro-projects which takes into account the basic needs of the most deprived socio-economic groups in disadvantaged regions.

The Fund seeks to support local civil society initiatives, boost social and economic development, fight poverty, create job opportunities, improve locals’ living conditions as well as help achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs)

The German Embassy calls on interested Tunisian organisations to submit their projects no later than April 18, 2022.
