President of the Republic Kais Saied received, on Friday, at Carthage Palace, Governor of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT), Marouen Abbasi, who handed over to him the 2021 financial statements of the bank and the report of the auditors.
The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the economic and monetary situation of the country, said a statement of the Presidency of the Republic.
During the meeting, the Head of State stressed the need to pay attention to social aspects in negotiations with international partners so that subsidies are directed to those who deserve them.
