- Inaugurated yesterday at Rimini Expo Centre, Italian Exhibition Group’s SEC – Solar Exhibition and Conference: three days of solutions for reducing the energy bills of companies and Public Administration
- Conferences organised by the Key Energy scientific board: state of the art and growth prospects of the fastest and most economical renewable energy.
SEC – Solar Exhibition and Conference, Italian Exhibition Group ‘s “vertical” solar and photovoltaic event, opened yesterday at Rimini Expo Centre until Friday 8th April. Three days of technological showcasing the latest generation panels, components and wallboxes for recharging electric vehicles. There will also be conferences and workshops organised under the supervision of the Key Energy scientific board headed by Professor Gianni Silvestrini : from energy communities, to agrivoltaics that combine arable land and energy supply, to e-mobility, as well as green hydrogen and the opportunities that the African market offers for Italian companies.
THE CONFERENCE PROGRAMME
In addition to the exhibition area, SEC22 offers – as is the tradition at Key Energy – a range of conferences, during which solar energy issues will be looked at in greater detail. The first and more technical part was organised by ITALIA SOLARE as part of SolarTech and included a series of sessions on photovoltaic modules and inverters, balancing systems and green hydrogen (6th April).
The morning of 7th April will see a seminar on storage systems and the Marco Pigni Memorial, an award dedicated to a great friend of photovoltaics, who died too young and is much missed, with a cheque awarded to the most deserving research. Instead, the afternoon of 7th April will feature the opening of conferences organised by Key Energy’s Technical-Scientific Committee. The programme will include “ Small Municipalities and Energy Communities”, organised by Legambiente, Kyoto Club; “Photovoltaics for industry”, organised by FIRE; “Photovoltaics and agriculture: proposals and opportunities for a virtuous relationship”, realized by Coordinamento Free and Confagricoltura. Authorisations and permitting for installing systems, the weak point of the entire renewable energy sector, will also be discussed at a meeting organised by Elettricità Futura. Also of interest will be the meeting on clean mobility entitled “From the roof to the garage: solar energy for recharging electric cars at home and at work”, organised by Vaielettrico; “ Superbonus: energy, employment impacts and prospects”, by Kyoto Club.
Lastly, the conference on “Renewable energy opportunities in Africa for Italian companies”, organised by Res4Africa, Ibesa, Solar Power Europe and Irena, will provide an international air and will be held tomorrow 8th April.
